Too Hot in Melbourne!

Too hot to type this blog, I'm sweating like Albanian Shepard who's allergic to wool...
We went to Melbourne today on the train, discovering Melbourne's public transport woes along the way(Will never complain about Trans-perth again!) The temp topped 41, and so we spent the day walking and catching Trams between the Melbourne Aquarium, the Melbourne Museum the burke st Mall and many other shops with good air-con :-)

We had a great time, and saw many interesting things. When we arrived back at the Laverton station and collected the very hot Patrol, we decided to hit the close-by beach (Altone Beach) and have a dip to cool off. It was the most packed beach we have seen to date, but managed to squeeze in and cool off. The sand was fine, dirty and gritty and it was only knee deep for miles but we didn't mind too much, but I cant help but compare it with the excellent beaches we have back home in Perth. After a chicken and fresh salad dinner topped off with ice-cream supplied by Ben, we played monopoly until 10. It's very warm in the van now but I can hear the gentle musical snoring of my little family even as I type...

So until tomorrow..

James, Naomi and kids

sweat, sweat....etc

P.S. Will post pics later when not so sweaty...:-)
