11th Jan 2013

After a overnight in another roadside park 60km NW of Norseman, we arrived in Kalgoorlie to find the Engel not yet fixed, so we had to spend a little time in Kal waiting for it. The kids enjoyed the wait :)
When we picked up the Engel it seemed to be dirtier than when we left it....probably just Kalgoorlie red dust. Anyways we thanked the refrigeration people and we set out on the road again, and  made tracks for Bruce Rock, where we arrived for a late lunch/tea at 5:30 and bought the biggest 4 burgers ever seen. Obviously too large for the kids, I had to finish off Ben's and Sarah only made a small dent in hers.

We then hit the road again for Wagin to spend some time with Naomi's Mum.

Those dark foreboding skies seem to be following us...

The sun goes down on the wheat-belt and the Wheaties!
Tomorrow is our 11th Wedding anniversary and it will be really nice to spend it somewhere familiar.

Feels like our Journey is coming to an end, but what a trip we have had. We have been blessed with no mechanical failures at all(besides the Engel)and the Patrol has been a fantastic work-horse dragging our heavy Millard almost 10,000km without complaint, we never even came close to hitting any animals on the road even-though we saw, kangaroos, wallaby's, rabbits, emus, camels, dingos, sheep, cattle, eagles, wombats, echidna's, snakes, donkeys, hawks, crows magpies, possible dead koala, foxes, one thorny devil, one hopping mouse and splenty of  truckies :)
