Started on replacing the floor lino and removed the old lino and the even older lino original tiles below.
This task was not as hard as I had thought, due to the tiles coming up pretty easy and mostly in one piece.
I then replaced some of the old rivets holding the ply floor to the chassis with new rivets which were pretty loose.
The old...
The new...
May not look too different, but the old rivets were all loose which makes the floor rattle and creak when you walk on it.Then briefly belt-sanded the floor to removed any lumps and bumps, and sealed with some bondcrete, and began to lay new lino tiles from Bunnings.
So now on to the other jobs that are banking up...like replacing the rotten pieces of walling with new ply and installing the wires for lights etc as I do.....
Cheers
